How do I install the Wake Shaper? We recommend practicing installing and removing the High Roller Wake Shaper while the boat is out of the water to get familiar with overall functionality and usage. This will help you find the installation sweet spot on the hull of the boat. We recommend a location as close to the stern of the boat on a fully submerged smooth surface. Fill your ballast evenly, there is no need to list your boat to the side when using the High Roller. Start with a 60/40 rear/front split of ballast for a V-Drive boat. More weight in the front makes the wave longer, more weight in the rear makes the wave taller and shorter. For a direct drive boat we recommend starting with 90% of your ballast weight in the rear. Locate a smooth surface 2-4” below the water line on the side opposite your preferred surf side. Make sure the area is clean, free of raised decals and as close to the back of the hull as you can. Press the shaper firmly against the boat and lock the suction levers. There should be a considerable amount of tension on the levers for a good connection. The shaper will not slide or move along the hull when properly connected. When you are done surfing, remove the shaper and turn it on its side to allow water trapped in the cups to drain out. Be sure to store the shaper with the suction cup leavers released. A speed between 10-13mph works best for most boats, please do not exceed 15mph. Practice driving and turning your first time to get used to a bit of steering change with the device on the boat. When picking up riders we recommend turning towards the shaper side of the boat.

Do i need a tether/leash?NO! the Highroller G3 shaper is the only floating shaper of its kind! Tethering your shaper is not recommended as it could snap back and damage your boat or harm passengers.

WarningWarning -Always apply the High Roller wakeshaper (HRW) to the boat with the engine off. -HRW will affect the boat’s handling, and may impact the turning radius of the boat. -Increased spray may result so always maintain visual surveillance of other boats/people in the water. -Never use HRW at speeds over 13 mph, or when not wakesurfing. -HRW may dislodge from boats at all speeds. Assume that someone is observing HRW. -Using the HRW on a vinyl wrapped boat cover may damage vinyl wrap. -Never use HRW for anything other than wakesurfing. -HRW use will vary with hull shape, ballast system. Always observe manufacturer’s ballast recommendations. -Always remove HRW before docking, loading onto boat lift, boat trailer or around hard objects. -Never apply HRW on a boat that is not designed to wakesurf behind. -USERS ASSUME ALL RISKS OF USING THE HIGH ROLLER WAKESHAPER SYSTEM.
